今日も起きた時から凄く落ち込んでいたけど、カラオケの練習に行った後なんとなく元気が戻りました。
やっぱり歌は力ですね。
さっき色々考えたけど。。。
日本語の「元気」は
「元」と「気」を使っていますね。
元（もと） と 気（き） の意味を考えたら、「元の気」の意味でしょう。そう言ったら、何よりも朝に起きてから元気になるはず。
だから最初から元気にするというのは当然ですよね。
元気からいろんな気持ちに変わりますけど。
例えば怒ったりして、寂しくなるとか。そんなネガティブな感情。
だけど、元気は元の気ですよ。だから、みんなは朝起きてから元気にするはずでしょう！！
私も毎朝元気になりたいから、覚えるようにします！
みんなも元気にしてください。
Today when I got up I was feeling pretty depressed, but when I went to practice to karaoke, my mood became a lot better afterwards.
Singing really revives the soul after all.
I thought about this recently…
In japanese, you say ‘genki’ for being healthy/in a good mood.
It uses the kanji ‘moto’ and ‘ki’.
Kanji have a lot of meanings, but let’s say in this case, ‘moto’ means ‘origin’ and ‘ki’ means ‘mood’.
In other words, it is implying that the ‘mood of origin’ should naturally being ‘happy/in a good mood’.
Then from being in the ‘mood of origin’, it changes to something else. For example being angry, or getting lonely. Those kinds of negative emotions.
But since being ‘healthy/in a good mood’ is the ‘mood of origin’, everyone should get up in the morning being in that state of mind, right?!
I want to try my best too, to remember that when I get up in the morning.
I hope everyone will be doing good too!

singing is good way to get better when I get depressed I use to sing too I think you are depressed because you miss your family and friends but I’m sure they support you as we do 
and soon you’ll see them again. Japanese is pretty interesting

HIMEKA, do you realize every online import store is sold out of the first press of your CD already?! I was really looking forward to place my order this weekend, but all the sites that display first press status are already sold out!! While I’m really sad that I cannot get the first press of your first professional CD, it’s really great to know how popular you are!

Hope you feel well, actually singing helps me feel better too! And you’re right about the ‘genki’ meaning, I never thought much about it being ‘mood of origin’ though. I pre-ordered Asu e no Kizuna and I was lucky enough to get a first press edition, and the person above me is right, all of the online stores have sold out of first pressing! I look forward to listening to it and your cover of Sayonara Solitaire.

私はHIMEKAさんの歌はもちろん,HIMEKAさん自身もだいすきです＾＾
アニソングランプリの放送を見てすごく衝撃を受けました。
その後ウェブでHIMEKAさんの小さい頃からのあこがれを知ってまた衝撃を受けました。
どちらともに,人の『夢を叶えたい』という気持ちのキラキラさを感じたからです。
だから,私はHIMEKAさんがだいすき。
中学生だからあまりお金は無いんですが（汗）,絶対CD買いますね。
私も歌もアニメも本当にすきです。
できれば次のアニソングランプリに参加したいんですが,夏からカナダへの留学が決まっているので参加できません（＋＋）
出場できないのは残念ですが,勉強頑張ってきます,元気に。（元の気で！）

I read this entry this morning when I woke up to go work a 5am. I’ll try to remember the ”mood of origin ” from now on!
One thing that makes me have a good day is to wake up with the sun; I always place my bed in a way that when the sun rises, it lights my room. I think it much nicer to wake up like that instead of an alarm XD ou should def’ try it out if you have a window and you can move your bed.
”Mood of origin” + morning sun = awesum combo! =D

Hi there from Hawaii! Well, became a big fan after I read your “against all odds” stories from the net. Here I thought joining the military is fairly heroic. Nay, what you did I thought was pretty heroic. To be able to best all the singers in the Animax and to get your chance to sing for an anime is pretty awesome. Your opening song for VC is pretty cool, definitely on my top ten. So, hang in there, have faith and sound of spirit, since I’m pretty sure you can do it.

I listened to the song…it brought tears to my eyes thinking of your journey, and the bulk of it has barely started! I really can’t wait to see your PV, and upcoming projects in the future! Hehe xD I’ll be sure to get a copy off Amazon or somewhere once I find one that ships cheaply to this deserted island they call Australia 
Ah, I really do love your posts, it gives me a new way of thinking that’s a lot more positive

I find I use singing as stress relief too. It feels so good to just sing your heart out without inhibitions sometimes, and the feeling of accomplishment when you have ‘eureka’ moments in practise

ANIMAXで放送したアニソングランプリでのHIMEKAさんの歌声を聞いて感動しました。
「明日へのキズナ」もとても素晴らしい曲ですし、HIMEKAさんの歌もとても感情が篭っていて感動しました。
HIMEKAさんの「元気」の意味の説明を読んで、私自身ですら忘れている日本語（漢字）の本来の意味を理解しようと努力している姿勢にも頭が下がる思いです。
言葉の問題や習慣の違いなどでいろいろ大変なことも多いと思いますが、これからもがんばってHIMEKAさんの歌声を聞かせて下さい。
